Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. A Mass at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels to Celebrate His Life!

The Knights of Peter Claver and the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary hosted a Liturgy Celebrating the Life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on January 19, 2009.

His Eminence Cardinal Roger Mohoney, Presided.

This organization was founded to meet the spiritual need of Black Catholics.

The uniforms remind me of the Masonic Order, Order of the Easter Star, and Queen of the South. The Black-American Masonic Order was founded for “Free Passage after Slavery.”

This organization relfects the diversity of the Catholic Church
