Albert Wilson, President of the Holy Name Society St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church

The Holy Name Society is to honor the Holy Name of Jesus and started as a mens organization. According to the President of the local chapter Albert Wilson the national racial makeup of the orgainzation is about two or three percent.

The local chapter is majority Black-Americans, this not only reflects the diversity of the Catholic Church, but also the diversity of the West Los Angeles, California area.
