The California School System: What Can Improve It?

 j0262840

You have an opportunity to share your opinion. The Thursday, July 17, 2008 Los Angeles Times Front Page reads: “1 in 4 quit high school in California”.

The school system wants to re-boundary the school districts. Remember, the schools get money from property taxes. How will that effect the local schools. Some live in nice homes, but their property taxes are not that high.

A wonderful   local school could decrease in funding and other things may drop, like test scores, graduation rates, and attendance rates.

Are the schools  using technology to improve the school system. Most need computer skills to succeed after graduation. Are the schools teaching the skills necessary for success? Why graduate if it does not lead to success?

Princess Diana

j0432984At the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels yesterday, I had a vision of Princess Diana at the Water Gate Fountain, near the entrance  after I dipped my fingers in the water and made the sign of the cross both directions.

I read the fountain, it reads: “I shall give you living water”.
